Our “Walk for Steve” Team consists of family and friends who have either lost a loved one to Pancreatic cancer or has been there in staunch support throughout..  Steve lost his fight with pancreatic cancer in October 2011 after a very short aggressive illness.  Knowing there wasnt anything i could do to stop what was happening was heart wrenching, but Steve’s unwavering stoic attitude to his illness not only helped me  and im certain his family to come to terms with the inevitable, but also set us on a path to help future sufferers of this very aggressive disease.  We have become very passionate in raising not only awareness of Pancreatic Cancer but donations to go towards Pancreatic Cancer Research through taking part in the annual “PutYourFootDown” walk led by the Avner  Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.  The only foundation in Australia exclusively dedicated to Pancreatic Cancer.   We have set ourselves a goal to raise $1,000 and we need your help with a donation, big or small.  Help do even more by ‘liking’, leaving a ‘comment’ and ‘sharing’ my page too. Every little bit helps to reach my target of $1,000.  So please dig deep for this great cause and help make a difference.
